Universal Parts Pro-Fix Plastic Repair Kit. Pro-Fix is a thermosetting liquid acrylic repair material specially formulated for repairing rigid plastics such as PMMA (Plexiglass, Lucite), PC, ABS, Lexan, PA (nylon), HIPS, SMC, PET, PVC and fiberglass.

ProFix melts into the substrate and bonds on a molecular level with the parent plastic. This molecular bonding results in a repair as strong as the original material. This kit can be used for small to large size repairs and applications.

The following information is known to the best of our knowledge and should be verified before use. Fenders are made of Polypropylene or Polyethylene and can not be repaired with our Pro-Fix Cold Chemical Repair Kit since they are flexible. These plastic types should be welded with our Plastic Welding Kit (171-22) and the appropriate welding wire thatâ€™s included. Motorcycle fairings and side panels are generally made of Polycarbonate or ABS. Gas tanks are generally made of Polypropylene, Polyethylene or Nylon. All hard plastics can be repaired with either of our Pro-Fix kits. Please choose the one best suited for the application.

Storage: ProFix should be stored in the original containers in a cool, dry location. Storage temperature should be maintained at 46-70Â°F (8-21Â°C) for best shelf life. Consult the product MSDS sheet for additional health and safety information. Caution: ProFix contains Methacrylate Monomers. Care must be taken in the handling and use of this product. Use in a well ventilated area.
